Accelerating Team success

Let's be clear, when it comes to leading successful teams, results don't flow in a straight line.

The future is not an incremental sequence from where you are now and where you will eventually land.

The simple passing of time accelerates your current circumstances and, therefore, The acceleration of where your current actions are taking you.

If you are leading a team that isn’t excelling, and you fail to take thoughtful and informed action, the passing of time compounds the negative impact of that position and pushes you further down the red line.

If you are leading a team that is excelling and you continue to take thoughtful and informed action, the passing of time will compound the positive impact of that position and push you further up the green line.

The difference between success and failure is the difference between drift and decisiveness. The passing of time does the rest.

They say you can’t predict the future but, from my perspective, that’s not entirely true. If you drift, we can predict a red line future.  Drift always heads downwards.

Likewise, if you’re thoughtful, informed and decisive, you’re more likely to experience a green line future.

Your action and behaviour, today, makes all the difference to the results you and your team will see in the future.
