Movement Brings Perspective

walking is a thinking tool

When ideas feel tangled or clarity is hard to find, movement brings perspective.

It doesn’t need to be a long walk. Just a lap around the block. Down the hallway. Even a quiet wander through your office.

Walking creates rhythm and space. It lets ideas breathe. Emotions settle. And your own voice rises to the surface—steady, clear, and grounded.

Some of the clearest decisions I’ve seen have come mid-stride, no whiteboard or meeting room required.

Just a leader taking a few minutes to reset and get clear.

If you’re feeling stuck, try walking with your thoughts instead of sitting in them. You might be surprised what becomes clear when your body is in motion.
