Build Accountability To Nurture Innovation

Assigning blame or muddling through a tricky situation without fully understanding who is doing what and what the chains of progress and communication are will result in a team that isn’t communicating or functioning as smoothly as it could. It also doesn’t leave room to learn from mistakes.

As leaders, if we reinforce our respective responsibilities and foster a culture of safety and inquiry, where we can share and learn from our mistakes, we can in turn foster a culture of accountability, growth and expression where we all feel safe to come forward with new ideas and suggestions to refine what we do and how we do it.

A truly progressive team is one where innovation is not just as a buzzword or an aspiration, but it is nurtured as a natural result of the cultivated accountability.

I work with teams to build this type of environment, where each members feels encouraged to flourish.
